Oatly Singapore were looking to organise a team building day that focused on sustainability. They were looking to put together a one-day programme filled with activities. Instead of attending seminars and workshops in the office, the team engaged in experiential learning about plastic waste, food waste and eco-enzymes. Some of their own empty oat drink cartons were also upcycled in the process.
The team started the day learning about plastic waste in Singapore, and had a hands-on session where they were able to up-cycle used plastics into accessories.
The workshop was held at Ground-Up Initiative (GUI)'s Yishun premises, where participants also got to interact with other tenants in the area.
Then, we had a break for a nutritious and healthy lunch bento, before another fun session about eco-enzymes.
Materials were provided for participants to create their own eco-enzyme cleaning solution… from food waste!
After these activities, there was a more leisurely session where the team got to visit Gardens by the Bay for a stroll in nature.
There was a visible buzz around the workplace the next day and attendees were pleasantly satisfied with their fun team bonding day out.
