Eggshells are one of the most commonly discarded food wastes around the world, but their calcium-rich properties make them an excellent additive in many activities such as gardening and pottery. Learn how to repurpose eggshells into a one-of-a-kind craft item that you can personalize in this workshop. Bring home 2 personalized coasters and/or keychains, earrings and more. Note* There will be a waiting time of 30mins-45mins after the activity for the mixture to dry and set before participants can bring home their crafts on the day of event.

Urban Farm Visit + Microgreens Workshop
Participants will visit an urban farm growing food on rooftops. They'll learn how an urban farm is operated in Singapore and learn about food sustainability, farming challenges and constraints. Participants will experience how local produce may be grown sustainably using technology, with possible hands-on segments such as interacting with earthworms, feeding fish or harvesting vegetables. This will be followed by a microgreens workshop, where participants will be provided with their own DIY microgreens growing kit and be guided through the setup of the kit, and caring and maintenance of the microgreens.

Create Colourful Jesmonite Terrazzo Crafts
This workshop is inspired by traditional terrazzo. However, instead of using cement and shattered marble chips, Jesmonite is used throughout the design, from the foundation to the colourful chips. For this workshop your group will need to choose only one of the following to make: Pill-Shaped Tray, Coaster (10cm dia.), Trinket Dish (8cm dia.) or Mini Pot.

Make Your Own Chopsticks
Participants will use solid wood offcuts to make their very own pair of chopsticks. Offcuts are materials left behind after a large piece is cut. When we upcycle, we reduce waste and these are important values to learn. Participants willl learn how to use a table saw, a hand planer, sanding techniques and finishing. (*If you have less than 20pax, we are still able to conduct the workshop. The minimum spend would be 20pax to start the class e.g. if you have 7pax, we will charge for 20pax. If you’d like to utilise our showroom space for some refreshments after your workshop, we offer a rate of SGD200/hour (U.P SGD250/hour). This rate only applies to the usage of the space. All refreshments and arrangements has to be self-provided.)
