Take a look at some of our past activations.
Singlife held a sustainability bazaar for their staff to browse the latest products from our featured partners. There was also a pre-loved fashion and books thrift corner, where proceeds and remaining items were donated to their choice of charity at the end of the event. This followed previous activities, including a sustainability farmer’s market and workshops on Food Waste Upcycling, Food Security & Insect Protein.
This year, the theme was centred on plastic waste. We had a sustainability exhibition where educational displays were put up around the office for staff to learn about plastic waste, a mini Sustainability Farmer’s Market with local vendors featuring their sustainability-focused lifestyle products, and an interactive workshop where staff could take a break from work to learn to make Ecobricks from used plastic bottles and discarded packaging.
We supported the team to co-organise a fashion and book swap. Over 1,000 clothes and books were donated by staff across the OCBC Group, giving coworkers the opportunity to refresh their closets and bookshelves in a sustainable way. Remaining donated items were passed on to our sustainability partners, further promoting circularity and supporting community initiatives.
We had the opportunity to be part of UOB’s Wellness@UOB programme, where their clients could sign up for wellness workshops conducted at their bank branches. Some of the workshop sessions included Batik Painting, Upcycling Used Coffee Grounds and Decorating Decoupage Glass - each held at various locations around Singapore. Each time, there was a full turnout of a diverse group of people enjoying the arts & crafts activities on offer.
We’ve worked with the team to curate vendor pop-ups at their brand new Surbana Jurong Campus on multiple occasions, for various departments and causes. This is a fantastic opportunity for placemaking, and to ignite a festive atmosphere at the workplace. We’ve also brought along numerous local brands and entrepreneurs to share about and allow staff to discover their products.
KPMG has partnered with us on numerous occasions for their activities and events. We’ve helped support their annual Christmas events, where staff and their children could decorate cookies together. Previous activities we’ve helped organise with KPMG include creative sessions such as a very memorable Art Therapy session where staff showcased their artistic talents. We also held sustainability-themed sessions including Upcycling Orange Peels and Making Granola from Spent Grains.
Great Eastern Singapore wanted to engage their employees with sustainability activities during Earth Day 2023, following a successful run the previous year. We curated a week of sustainability pop-ups, exhibitions and a fashion swap. There was also a clothes collection drive across their offices, where over 300kg of clothes, books and toys were donated.
Oatly Singapore were looking to organise a team building day that focused on sustainability. Instead of attending seminars and workshops in the office, the team engaged in experiential learning about plastic waste, food waste and eco-enzymes. Some of their own empty oat drink cartons were also upcycled in the process.
JLL decided to organise a used textile collection drive at their One George Street building. This was a month-long activation where tenants could bring unwanted clothes and textiles that could be repurposed and upcycled. The activation yielded over 500kg of used textiles, and participants were able to learn the impact of their contributions.
